Gingko biloba trees are among the most celebrated of trees, and for good reason. Not only are they breathtaking, but gingkos are considered a living fossil, having no known living relatives, and having endured for millions of years with little change. 

They are the oldest surviving species of tree known to exist, with a history spanning 200 million years. Not surprisingly, it has become a symbol of strength, hope, and peace for many.
